Meet the Coast member: Matt

We love to hear about our members’ adventures with bike share in Tampa and St. Pete. Today we’re joined by Matt, who lives and works in Downtown Tampa.

Matt KnappTell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Matt Knapp and I work in the IT Industry and live in the beautiful Channelside in Downtown Tampa.

How long have you lived in Tampa or St. Pete?

I’ve lived here my entire life, I’m a Florida native!

How long have you been a Coast Bike Share member?

I’ve been a Coast member for almost three years.

What’s your favorite place to ride?

I love riding downtown on the Riverwalk, it’s absolutely stunning and a great way to work out at the same time.

And your favorite local spot you love to recommend?

Paninoteca, a local Greek restaurant. Paninoteca is a hidden gem in downtown with great food and a chance to sit outside in the gorgeous Tampa weather.

What would you tell someone thinking about joining Coast Bike Share?

I would definitely recommend getting the annual membership if you live downtown or near the channel district. The bikes are a great way to travel between the two sides of downtown without having to stress about parking.

Thanks, Matt!
