We love to hear about our members’ adventures with bike share in Tampa and St. Pete. Today, we’re joined by Senior Planner Justin of Tindale Oliver, who explains how his company uses bike share in Tampa.
Tindale Oliver is Planning and Engineering Firm that is supportive of bike share and committed to improving the safety record for non-motorized road users in the Tampa Bay Region and beyond.
How long have you been based in Tampa?
Tindale Oliver has been based in Tampa since 1989.
How long have you been a Coast Bike Share member?
We were founding members and still have our awesome helmet to prove it!
How do you use bike share?
After receiving our Silver-level Bicycle Friendly Business (BFB) Designation last year, we organized a luncheon in which we all biked down the Tampa Riverwalk to Sail Pavilion. Coast was kind enough to provide additional bikes since we currently share one membership for our whole Tampa Headquarters.
We have several regular bike commuters who are passionate about making Tampa a world-class biking city and improving the safety off all road users! We are proud to be the first Tampa Bike Friendly Business that is a non-retail business!
What’s your favorite place to ride?
Riverwalk to Bayshore.
And your favourite local spot you love to recommend?
What would you tell someone thinking about joining Coast Bike Share?
Just do it. Access to hundreds of bikes on both sides of the bay!
