Saturday July 8 – Second Saturday Art Walk in St. Pete.

More than 40 galleries and artist studios across St. Petersburg’s Waterfront Arts District, Central Arts District, EDGE District, Grand Central District and the Warehouse Arts District participate in the Second Saturday Art Walk. Doors open from 5-9pm with a variety of live entertainment, appetizers and artwork on offer.

Called “a geeky cultural gem” by CBC, Welcome to Night Vale, is a twice-monthly podcast in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Night Vale, featuring local weather, news, announcements from the Sheriff’s Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers, and cultural events. Narrator Cecil Baldwin and musical guest Eliza Rickman bring to life an evening of spooky, funny, and charming entertainment on Tampa Theatre’s historic stage.

Welcome to Night ValeThe 15th Avenue market, hosted in the grounds of Stained Market Place, showcases local pop up businesses every month. You can expect art, music, food, vintage makers, authors, artisan crafters and more.

Saturday, July 15 – Extreme Mud Wars in St. Pete.

Compete in eight muddy events, which range from volleyball and dodgeball to jousting and tug of war, or just spectate from the beer garden, all while raising money for local charities.

Over 75 artisans come together to exhibit a collection of visual and functional creations in paint, wood, ceramics, photography, metal, glass, fiber, mixed media and jewelry. Hosted by the Professional Association of Visual Artists (PAVA), this two-day show takes place inside St. Petersburg’s historic Coliseum Ballroom from 10am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
