June is National Great Outdoors Month. There’s no better time to hop on a bike and appreciate our beautiful surroundings while Coasting to these Tampa Bay events.
June 2 – Friday Concerts in the Park in Tampa
6-8pm, Water Works Park
Live outdoor music to satisfy all tastes – from jazz to country to reggae to classic rock – with concessions available from The Original Westshore Pizza Truck and Just Desserts Ice Cream Truck, Friday Concerts in the Park are the perfect way to kick back, relax, and start your weekend.
3-5pm, Tampa Theatre
Lazy Saturday afternoons are made for popcorn and movies. Join bookish Belle and the brooding Beast as you follow along with the lyrics on screen at our historic Tampa Theatre, and belt out the songs from this Disney classic.
A rolling celebration of food and fun, Brews and Bites features live entertainment and a fleet of Tampa’s favorite food trucks.
8:30am – 12pm, Museum of Fine Arts
Two and four-legged residents are invited to participate in a 3k walk, with plenty of food options, live music, shopping, and fun in Downtown St. Pete.
June 10 – July 1 – 9th Annual Clay Pride in St. Pete
2955 Central Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713, Craftsman House
Featuring a collection of colorful ceramics by clay artists, this month-long exhibition is a delight. Peruse and purchase artworks at Craftsman House, before pitching up to enjoy a glass of lemonade on the breezy front porch.
June 15 – Flicks and Food Trucks in Tampa
6-10pm, Grand Central at Kennedy
Gourmet food truck fun paired with independent short flicks and live music. This urban, hip event is located at Grand Central at Kennedy where the Pour House and City Dog Cantina provide micro brews and tasty cocktails.
June 15-25 – Tampa Bay Restaurant Week
For a limited time, participating Tampa Bay area restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe menus (and additional special menu offerings – like exclusive Tito’s Handmade Vodka drink specials) for only $30 or $45 per couple or person. It’s a great way for you to dine at restaurants you’ve been dying to try (or can’t get enough of).
June 16 – St. Pete Grouper Grunge Fest
Craft beers, live music, waterfront seating, and tour the Sir Winston cruise ship at the Port while enjoying some of the best food truck fare the city has to offer.
June 23-25 – 2017 St. Pete Pride Weekend
Florida’s largest Pride celebration, celebrating our community’s unique diversity. Parties, parades, festivals – it’s one of St. Pete’s busiest weekends, and not-to-be-missed.
Saturday June 24 – Authentic Flamenco Dinner Show in Tampa
8-10pm, Spain Restaurant & Toma Tapas Bar, 513 Tampa Street, Tampa, FL 33602
A sizzling evening of authentic flamenco dance, Spanish cuisine and live music performed by Sombras Flamencas.
