Featuring tasty treats from a variety of local vendors, the Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta occurs the first Wednesday of every month in Downtown’s Lykes Gaslight Square Park from 11am to 2pm. This month’s food trucks are: ‘Merica, The Surly Mermaid, Maggie on the Move, Just Smokin’ BBQ, Empamamas, Michelle Faedo on the Go, Doobie’s Southern Kitchen, Cheesesteak Truck, Smokin’ Bowls, Twisted Indian, and Herring’s Catch.
Feb 10 – Channel District Maven Market’s Love & Creativity Fest in Tampa
Fall in love with creativity! Just a few days before Valentine’s Day, shop at the stalls of 50+ creative artisans, makers, and vendors. Enjoy food, live entertainment, or take part in the karaoke fest, and sing a classic ballad to your beloved.
Feb 11 – EDGE District Sip & Stroll in St. Pete
The EDGE District Sip & Stroll is a quarterly event celebrating the historic EDGE District and its eclectic and unique businesses. This quarter’s Stroll is on Sunday, February 11th from 12-4pm and features a Valentine’s theme, including “Cupid’s Quest” – an app-based treasure hunt.
Feb 12 – Classical Revolution in St. Pete
Sip on cocktails and enjoy works by Prokofiev, Mendelssohn, Bruch, and Brahms performed by a pop-up tiny orchestra in SubCentral at the Iberian Rooster.
Feb 14 – Valentine’s Vows and When Harry Met Sally in Tampa
Over its 91-year history, Tampa Theatre has starred in the love stories of many Bay-area romantics: from first dates under the starry sky to stolen kisses in the balcony; from “meet cutes” under the historic marquee to Hollywood-dream proposals on the stage. At 7pm, married couples are invited to participate in an en masse renewal of their wedding vows – written especially for an audience well-versed in romantic movie quotes – and a champagne toast to “happily ever after”. Couples preparing to walk down the aisle for the first time can also be officially married on stage (as long as they have a legal marriage licence in tow). After the nuptials, Nora Ephron’s rom-com classic When Harry Met Sally… will provide the perfect excuse to sneak an arm around your date.
Feb 17 – 2nd Annual St. Pete French Fry Festival in St. Pete
French fry connoisseur? Enjoy live music and street performers at this free-to-attend fry-off in Straub Park.
Feb 17 – Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival in Tampa
A great day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, cigar smokin’, and barbeque eatin’. Your admission comes with a glass for all-you-care-to-taste samplings of beer and bourbon. Live music all day, cooking seminars in the tasting theater, and some of the bay area’s best barbecue on offer.
Feb 18 – Indie Flea in Tampa
A monthly curated market featuring 70+ artisans, crafters, and makers from Tampa Bay and beyond held in the newly opened Armature Works. Enjoy coffee and breakfast as you shop for art, succulents, vintage, letterpress and handmade goods.
Feb 21-25 – St. Pete Jazz Festival in St. Pete
You won’t find food trucks, stadium seating or massive columns of speakers at the St. Petersburg Jazz Festival. What you will find is an intimate concert experience with pure sound quality and a great appreciation of the jazz artists performing.
Feb 24-25 – 5th Annual Fine Arts Festival in St. Pete
A ‘boutique’ fine art event featuring approximately 120 of Florida’s and America’s top fine artisans, the festival transforms the grounds of South Straub Park into an outdoor gallery showcasing extraordinary original and handmade artwork.
